About

Skelliewag is a collection of my essays on blogging, entrepreneurship, web content, social media, happiness in work, creativity, learning, expertise and business. I’m interested in a lot of other things - I just haven’t written about them yet.

But I might.

This blog is different to a lot of other blogs in the following ways:

  1. Most of the posts are very long
  2. It is erratically updated. I only write when I have something to say - sometimes the gap between posts is hours, sometimes months. Subscribing by RSS or email is probably the least frustrating way to keep track of it.
  3. I don’t advertise other people’s products and I don’t use affiliate programs. Sometimes I’ll sell something I’ve made - but only if it took a long time and a lot of energy to create.
  4. I don’t publish my contact details on the blog because I’m bad at answering email and don’t want to disappoint anyone. I do read every comment left here, though. And I will always respond to @ messages sent to my Twitter account.
  5. I try never to say the same thing twice. If you’re a beginner blogger, you may prefer to start with older posts and move forward.
