On the 21st of December I shared five hard questions to ask yourself before starting a new project. Since then, I have been answering those very same questions myself (for a project different to the one discussed in the article).
After a few weeks of deliberation and work, I have good answer to all five questions. I’m ready to launch blog #2, Anywired — a blog about working and earning an income through the web.
This is another topic I’m passionate about and, until now, I haven’t been able to find an outlet to write about that passion. Skelliewag will still be given the love and attention it deserves — sort of like when you welcome a new child or pet into the family, it doesn’t mean you love the one you already have any less ;-).
If you’re trying to earn an income through your blog or website, or are interested in working online in other ways, I think you’ll like Anywired!
Skelliewag features daily discussions on content creation, great ideas you can use, and design tips. Join the community by subscribing!

That’s awesome Skellie, it already looks like it’s going to be a great site and I’m sure it’ll have instant successes. I’ll be linking to it in tomorrow’s roundup on my blog.

Thank you guys — it has been an insane week behind the scenes!
@ Maki: Sorry I haven’t replied to your SU message yet — it’s the first thing on my to-do list when I get back online… off to work now (still 3 weeks left at the Bakery, hehe).

Stupendous! I’m looking forward to reading it. I, too, have taken the plunge and started a second blog this week. It’s The Art of Manliness. (You can click on my link on my name above). I’ve got big plans for this one.
Thankfully, I was able to pick up another contributor for The Frugal Law Student, so maintain two blogs won’t be as difficult if it were just me.
Good luck!

I like the idea. I’m a tri-vocational blogger along with running a web design firm and leading worship for my church. This is the kind of blog that’s right up my alley. I just subscribed to ANYWIRED.

Congratulations Skellie! It will be great to learn more interesting things from you as usual. I like the design of the blog and the niche you will be focusing on.
Keep up the great work. You will be seeing more of me on both blogs

There is another good place to get hold of your writings and guides. This means fantastic to me. With your coverage on blogosphere recently, I guess you should be in the game full time much more earlier.
Keep up the good work Skellie. Anywired is subscribed by me as well.

@ Brett: Congrats on the second blog! I want to write about my experiences managing two blogs in future (I haven’t done it before), so hopefully that’s something you’ll find useful :).

@ Read Scott: Thanks for subscribing!
@ Soham: Thank you
@ Ritu: It will be great to see you around!
@ Wayne: Thank you for the kind words, and for subscribing. I hope I don’t disappoint!

Great topic for a new blog - I love the approach you’ve taken. I’m trying to move away from the office life in the next few months/years, so this is just what I’ve been looking for. Thanks and best of luck!

Another place to write Skellie? I’m not sure if your keyboard will be able to take much more of this!
Thankfully the rest of us can’t get enough of it. I’m subscribed and looking forward to having another awesome feed to read each day.

Yeah!
ProBlogger wrote about it as well and I happened to check his RSS feed before yours.
But still!
That’s awesome news!
I love this blog and I’m really excited about your next!
Although you may want to consider a different layout…
P.S. I’m a designer for hire… ;-P

Skellie, you never cease to amaze me! Your new site is AWESOME! I love the fact that the layout is the same as this one, but slightly different. It gives it the “custom” feel while still helping it stay attached to your name and your blog so people remember just who runs it
Awesome work!
Now, slow down on the new websites. I only have so much time in a day to read and you’re articles already take up a lot of time
